Go beyond the view and into the daily life of a real high-country station. Depending on the season, that might mean checking stock by 4WD, seeing the dogs at work, visiting the wool shed, or gaining a closer look at what life here actually involves.
Experience Dingleburn on the land, on the water and at your own pace
Dingleburn invites a different kind of adventure.
The kind where your day might begin with station tracks and mountain light, lead into rivers, ridgelines or lake edges, and end with tired legs, good food and a sky full of stars.
This is not a checklist of activities. It is an invitation to experience the station in a way that suits you.

Guided Farm Experience
Walking & Tramping
Follow private tracks through a landscape that feels far bigger than the map suggests. Rivers, hills, lake views and mountain backdrops make every walk feel like a proper escape.
Fishing
With access to rivers, lakeshore and hidden corners of the station, Dingleburn offers fishing in a setting that is as memorable as the catch itself.
Mountain Biking
Ride through station terrain that opens up vast views, changing ground and a real sense of freedom. This is high-country riding with room to breathe.
Relaxing
Not every experience needs to be active. Sometimes the best part is the stillness: a book by the lake, a slow afternoon on the flats, or simply watching the light move across the mountains.
Packrafting
For guests wanting a more adventurous day, packrafting offers a different way to experience Dingleburn, combining the movement of the trails with the quiet pull of the water.

As told by others
From the moment we arrived, our experience with Brigie and Nicky at their station was nothing short of magical. Every day felt like a dream. The accommodation was cosy and beautifully kept, and they welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt at home.
The station itself is a true slice of paradise. We were free to explore, taking in breathtaking views and immersing ourselves in the incredible natural beauty all around. One of the absolute highlights was witnessing the beautiful animals that roam the property. It's a memory that will stay with us forever.
We're already planning our next visit.

Our group of 20 bikers had a superb stay at Dingleburn. The accommodation was clean and tidy, the food was utterly wonderful and plenty after a huge 50km bike ride across the station.
Very well fuelled up with a huge breakfast, ready for another day's biking. Hot tub under the stars and open fire pit. Thank you Brigie - your warm and welcoming hospitality is world class.

What an experience we had at the Dingleburn Station! From driving into the farm on such a historical road, seeing the gorgeous view of the farm, to joining the crew in moving their sheep to their summer range through the mountains, this trip definitely became the highlight of our NZ travels.
The Mead family welcomed us so nicely and helped us with anything we needed. Brigie is an amazing cook and always feeds us such delicious meals
The accommodation was so clean and nicely laid out that we both felt very comfortable. It’s the kind of place you can just take a deep breath.

We arrived with no idea what to expect, and have been delighted at every turn!
Wonderful hosts, incredible views, new experiences for us all. Difficult to pick out a highlight from a very long list - mustering with the best, swimming in the lake, chilling around the fire pit, Brigie’s home cooking, proper walking trails, and generally enjoying the company of the Mead family.

Thank you for such a beautiful, memorable stay. You opened your home to us, and your cooking, personal touches, and amazing stories really made us feel at home and appreciate the authentic station life.
The fishing was incredible, and we really lucked out on bluebird days and no wind. You live in a paradise, and we were very thankful to share that with you for a few days.
